From April to October, yes, a Dubai wedding tent needs air conditioning to be comfortable. From December to March it is optional, and often a nice upgrade rather than a necessity. A clear-top or transparent marquee always needs cooling because of the sunlight it lets in.

Cooling a tent is not just about wheeling in a unit. It is calculated from your guest count, structure size and the month, then the structure is sealed so the cool air stays in. Air conditioning is priced on top of the marquee, based on how much cooling your event needs, which comes down to the structure size, the number of units and whether a generator is required.
